24 Hour Helpline:The helpline is confidential with the following exceptions: child abuse, homicidal, suicidal.
 
Safe Shelter:Our safe shelter can accommodate up to 22 women and children. Men eligible for shelter would be housed in a motel. Our shelter has a full kitchen/pantry, dining room, living room, play room, recreation room, internet access, 2 full baths, 2 half baths and laundry room.
 
Individual Counseling:Meet with one of our counselors/advocates to assess your situation, provide counseling and additional resources and help you develop your safety plan.
 
Support Groups: 
Domestic Violence Support Group: Mon 12:00-1:00 NO Childcare
                                                                                    Thurs 6:00-7:30 Childcare Avail.
 
Safety Planning:We are able to safety plan with you while in your current relationship, as you are trying to leave your current relationship, and once you have left the relationship.
 
Legal Consultation:Meet with one of the lawyers with whom we have partnered to discuss protective/peace orders and to receive court accompaniment.
 
Children's Programs:Counseling is available for children ages 4 years and up who have witnessed domestic violence, or are currently growing up in a domestic violence household. We also have an annual children's Halloween Party and Christmas Party as well as a Summer Program for the children who are receiving services and/or living in the safe shelter. 
 
Court/Hospital Accompaniment:Advocates are available to assist in filing for a protective/peace order, attend court with victims and respond to the ER in the event of a sexual assault/rape. (Sexual assault advocates are available 24/7).
 
Community Education:We have materials on display and staff available to answer questions at Sunfest, the Cecil County Fair and Elkton Fall Fest to promote awareness and education regarding domestic violence, sexual assault and our services. We also have several presentations available for your classroom, company or organization.
